The UK Address Finder converts locations to the corresponding addresses which are displayed as markers on a map. The locations can be entered as text or selected interactively via the map. The markers have popups which report the address.
Full address data may be missing for streets which are not part of a major built-up area. In this case, the nearest road, place and postcode is reported instead.
Clicking a marker will open its popup which displays the location information. A marker can be dragged to a new position. Multiple markers can be added to the map selecting a new location. A marker can be removed from the map by double-clicking on it. A note can be added to each marker to store specific information about the location.
The style of the map can be chosen via the dropdown which defaults to Streets.
The browser history reflects the particular state of the markers. The current URL can be bookmarked or shared with others to locate the markers in the same positions and restore any associated notes.
